Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

3Days is built to hold as little of your data as possible — and none of it on our servers. Here's exactly what exists, and where.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile (name, email, avatar) to identify your session — nothing else. The time-off records you create (titles, descriptions, dates) are yours and are described below.

Where your data lives

Your records live in your own Google Drive, in a private app-only storage area (appDataFolder) that only 3Days can read — not even you can browse it in the regular Drive UI. We run no database of our own; there is nothing about your time off stored on any server we control.

Cookies & local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, plus small cookies for your theme, language, and cookie-consent choice. On our public pages (this one, the homepage, sign-in) we also use Google Analytics to see anonymized visitor counts and traffic sources — only once you've accepted the cookie banner; the signed-in app itself is never tracked. A local, offline-capable copy of your records is kept on your device (browser storage) so the app works without a connection, and syncs back to your Drive when you're online.

Your control

You can wipe all of your data — locally and from Drive — at any time from Settings. You can also revoke 3Days' access entirely from your Google Account's third-party access settings, which removes our ability to read or write anything.
